Our Sanctuary Servants…

Pastor Davis Hines, B.B.S., M.TH., embodies character, integrity, and wisdom. A true servant of God, he is deeply devoted to his congregation and genuinely loves the people of God. Recognized among the faithful as a Mighty Prayer Warrior, Pastor Hines stands out for his unwavering support of fellow pastors and leaders. He tirelessly works to create spiritual foundations and construct places of worship where God is glorified.

With 30 years of ministry under his belt, Pastor Hines delivered his first sermon on November 16, 1996, focusing on the profound theme, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter…”. He began his pastoral journey in 2004 at Parker’s Temple COGIC, serving faithfully for seven years. In a pivotal moment on January 16, 2011, Pastor Hines co-founded The Living Sanctuary and has since made a lasting impact. Recently, he celebrated 20 years of pastoral service, marked by fortitude and dedication. His ministry has taken him across Tennessee and several other states, where he has passionately conducted revivals, seminars, and leadership conferences. Through the outreach efforts of The Living Sanctuary, countless lives have been transformed people have been saved, healed, baptized, received miracles, and many have been filled with the Holy Ghost. The ethos of Pastor Hines and The Living Sanctuary is, “You won’t leave here like you came in Jesus' Name.”

Pastor Hines earned his bachelor’s degree in biblical studies and a master’s degree in theology from Adullam Bible College in Gainesville, FL. As the co-founder and senior servant of The Living Sanctuary Celebration of Praise Ministries, Inc. in Jackson, Tennessee, he currently serves as the Chairman of the Pastors and Elders Council in the Celebration of Praise Ministries Inc., and as the 2nd Administrative Assistant for the Ohio North Region of COP.

In addition to his pastoral role, Pastor Hines provides guidance as an advisor to other leaders, organizations, and ministries. He is employed as a Program Manager with Tennessee Homeless Solutions and serves on the Board of Directors for Precious Stone Homes and various other agencies. He is the youngest of seven siblings and the son of the late Aaron Gene Hines and Mother Ola May Hines. Pastor Hines is married to Lady Angela K. Hines, with whom he has shared 35 wonderful years, and they have a beautiful daughter, Madame Jada S. Hines.
